Sample Co., Sales Support Intern
Job Summary:
Working in a fast pace environment, the Sales Support Intern will handle customer relations, administration, and social media duties for the Sales Department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with information including services and cost & quotes
- Provide back-end support to Sales Department; collecting relevant information from customers to accurately create an estimate and prepare estimates for services.
- Prepare and submit customer invoices
- Monitor customer accounts and follow-up for feedback, payment verification, and payments for outstanding invoices
- Process and input invoices in Accounting system
- Social Media – Create blogs and assist with all online social media
- Bookkeeping tasks such as organizing receipts and other accounts payable;
- Preparing invoices and processing payment;
- Administrative office assistance, such as filing, ordering office supplies, etc.;
- Working with the operations department to track equipment/supply inventory;
- Assists in the resolution of billing, claims, or collection issues;
Skills/Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a university pursing a degree in business
- Experience in customer relations
- Exceptional mathematical skills
- Strong communicator, quick learner, analytical, personable
- A positive attitude
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be effective in group situations
- Intermediate computer skills
- Meticulous, diligent, detail-oriented and team-player
- Previous administrative experience or of similar nature is an asset
